displaced – a video poem collaboration by Sarah-Jane Crowson w/music by Jesse Anger

displaced

A drawing of Sarah Jane Crowson by the artist. Colorful patterned gestural drawing.

Sarah-Jane’s work is inspired by fairytales, nature, psychogeography and surrealism. She uses bricolage to explore the space between real and imagined; creating alternative narratives as small acts of resistance. You can find her on Twitter @Sarahjfc or on her website at www.sarahjanecrowson.art

A photo of Jesse Anger, b & w, crouching under a bridge on land, an urban river running behind him.

Jesse Anger was a poet, photographer and musician who lived and worked in Toronto, Canada. His poems appeared everywhere. He studied watersheds, tarot, and juggling. https://www.jessanger.com/.

We are sorry to share that since this collaboration was created, Jesse Anger has sadly passed away. Our sympathies and thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. You can read more about Jesse on his website https://www.jessanger.com/ and at The Blasted Tree on his website page.
