We hope you enjoy the range of pieces exploring the in-between, the liminal, sacred, the complex exploration of elements: be it poetry and film, words and images, collaborative texts, the process of creating hybrid art-works and written scores named and elucidated that interrogate and deconstruct. Living in increasingly fraught, violent and dangerous times, we believe Ice Floe and creative work has important and decisive purposes in holding ground, naming the possible, investigating trauma and the luminous; the construction beyond heteronormative binaries of the potential; of self and community. In this series we present works by 32 contributors. Our mandate is to explore work from international voices in conversation and convergence. We invite you into that conversation with each piece we present, either as individual works or landscapes of intersection at the margins and boundaries, process and otherwor(l)d(s).
