New Poems by Mykyta Ryzhykh

Haiku (Selection)

1
a petal lifted up by
the wind cuts the world in half

i am equally far from your half
and from my own

2
unnoticeable joy
snow on the eyelashes

3
nobody talks in the spring cemetery

4
dew and sun
drink and drink

5
the tree is deprived
of leaves

our life is deprived
of something too

The stone fell with a splash:
This stone is not needed even by water.
The lower, the harder. Is there a bottom?

The bubble caught bubble in a strong merger,
The airless space became frosted.
The heart finally burned out. The doctors are silent.

A small piece of a person inside the stone continues its long journey.
And someone continues his long journey in humility.
