Amantine Brodeur: Most recently she has been invited to contribute work ‘Arranged Women’ to Ice Floe Press and ‘La Gioconda’ to After Poetry … In late 2024, she collaborated on a musical project “The End of Dreams”, writing its text, spoken and sung, with electronic music arranger and music producer Peter James. This collaboration included an improvisation by Irish Mezzo soprano Sinéad Ní Mhurchú and is available on Bandcamp. Her work has twice been shortlisted in poetry competitions and has appeared in numerous print and online magazines and print anthologies. Forthcoming works include a collection of experimental short fiction Songs From Quarantine Bay and her first full poetry collection Augustea , inspired by the life of Livia, First Roman Empress and consort to Augustus. She launches her interview series ‘From the Heart’ this month with her first guest, award-winning short story writer Mike Fox, author of Things Grown Distant, recently published by Confingo.
